Menajem and Isska converted to Judaism as adults and raised their two daughters within Beit David, a close-knit community of Orthodox Jewish converts who live in Colombia. Determined to escape from ongoing gang violence, they plan to move to Israel but risk their conversion not being recognized. Undeterred, they plan to travel under the guise of Christian tourists. This poignant and beautifully-filmed documentary highlights the family’s unflinching spirit as they strive for a better life while worrying about what they might lose in the process. Will their faith in the promise of a better future hold strong as they face the reality of a new beginning?
