This eye-opening documentary examines life on Batan al-Hawa Street in Silwan, an East Jerusalem neighbourhood overlooking the Temple Mount and reflecting the broader Israeli–Palestinian conflict. Israeli settlers now live in homes once belonging to evicted Palestinian families, while more than 750 Palestinian residents face possible displacement to expand settlements. Through the voices of children and adults on both sides, the film reveals the daily tensions, fears, and uncertainties shaping life on the street. By focusing on one small community, the documentary illuminates the human dimension of a complex political struggle, showing how competing histories, identities, and claims to land collide in everyday life.
